Mr. Jawahar Gopal, 60, is a B.com Graduate from St. Joseph’s Commerce College, Bangalore. He is from the illustrious Ramanarayan Chellaram family who settled in Bangalore more than 100 years ago. He is the eldest son of the late Sri Gopal Ramanarayan, the founder of The Featherlite Group. He joined the family business at a young age and is presently the Chairman of the Featherlite Group, which is now 50 years old.
Under the guidance of Mr. Jawahar Gopal, Featherlite entered the Real Estate business about 8 years ago, and has made commercial properties in Bangalore and Mysore, and residential buildings in Chennai. Till date, they have developed more than 7 lakh Sq.ft in these 2 cities and more than 10 lakh sq. ft are in the planning / approval stage.
Mr. Jawahar Gopal has been a Member of the Sindhi School’s Governing Council as well as a Member of Managing Committee of the Sindhi Hospital on various occasions. He is also a member of several social clubs, and is a keen golfer.
Mr. Jawahar Gopal is also an amateur Art collector, and has an eclectic collection of paintings and sculpture.

Mr. Manohar Gopal, 53, is a B.Com Graduate from St. Joseph’s College of Commerce. He is responsible for all the marketing activities and strategic planning of the Group’s businesses and new ventures.
He brings along with him vast knowledge and expertise in investing in real estate from land, residential and, commercial spaces over the last 20 years. He heads all the leasing and sales activities at the organisation and provides strategic inputs in all other decisions.

Mr. Dhiren Gopal, 48, is a Commerce Graduate and has been in the family business for more than 25 years. He is in complete charge of the manufacturing activities of the Furniture business and has been responsible for infusing latest technologies and machineries into our plants. He plays an advisory role in the real estate business.
- Mr. Raju Gupta
Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Gupta, a Project Engineer by training, has 28 years of hard core experience in executing large Industrial, Institutional and Commercial Projects all over the country. He has spearheaded execution of Asia’s largest Fertilizer plant - Chambal Fertilizers, World’s largest potato seed project for Fritolay, India’s largest Technical Institution for BITS Pilani and many others.
He has worked with the Birla Group of Companies for over 15 years and have headed various departments namely construction, projects, maintenance, and HR at different occasions.
At a tender age of 24 years, he was awarded “First” Fellowship by CSIR and has distinction of being the youngest Fellow of Geo Technical Society. (FGS)
At the age of 26 years, he was the only person from the private sector to be selected for UNDP program under Swedish Scholarship.
He is also an alumni of IIM – Ahmedabad.
An acclaimed trainer on soft skills, he has many articles to his credit in leading HR Magazines.
Mr. Gupta joined Featherlite Group in 2006 as the CEO – Real Estate Projects and is spearheading the Real Estate activities of the group.
- Mr. Aditya Chellaram
Director
Aditya Chellaram is the newest member to the Featherlite Management Team. He comes with over 5 years of Real Estate experience in both India and the US. He has completed his BA in Business Economics at UCLA and has worked at several household names in the real estate world namely, CBRE, JLL, and The Wadhwa Group.
After a 1 year stint in CBRE in Industrial Leasing in Los Angeles, he returned to India to understand the local real estate market. He worked with a small property brokerage firm named, Redwoods Projects and closed several deals with Apple and Janalaxmi Bank during his tenure there. He then joined Featherlite Group as a Transaction Manager to lease out the Group’s marquee commerical asset, The Address in Bangalore. After successfully doing so, he handled the marketing of the Vaikuntam and Swargam, Featherlite’s CNBC Awarded Project in Chennai. In order to gain more experience in residential real estate and construction, he moved to Mumbai to work with The Wadhwa Group. Under the mentorship of Navin Makhija, MD of The Wadhwa Group he got great exposure into land acquisition, finance, marketing, and construction.
He then rejoined Featherlite Developers and has assumed the Executive Director position. He is now responsible for Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Liasoning, Finance and HR.
